Exporting to CSV and importing into Quickfile question.

I am in the process of checking out quickfile ready for MTD, testing is going great, but I ideally need an extra export column in the csv for a number, such as 1200. Each record would need that same number.

Any ideas how to achieve this?

Thanks
Tony

Hi Tony,

Thank you for contacting us.
We are going to look into the possibility of being able to enter a literal value on the export template.
For now though, you can add/insert an extra column to the export as normal, but it will be blank.
For the moment, you will need to edit the csv after you have exported.

Please feel free to email us support@aimcosoftware.co.uk and we can answer any further questions or queries.
Many thanks,
Chrissii

Hi Chrissii,

Thank you for your reply.

I did add an extra column after export and edited the csv to include the number which then did work. I also tried editing the PP4 template to include 1200 in the unused field, but it adds {} around the number which then didn't work.
